Introducing: Queen Spectrum

 QUEEN SPECTRUM

Introducing Queen Spectrum! She is a super algolien who possesses the visual color spectrum. She can live up to 5,000 years, and doesn't want to waste a minute of it! Her dream is to see the work she and her husband created, but King Saturation worries the universe may be a scary place, considering the Queen's ability to control colors does not come equipped with immorality. The place she catches sight of is Earth, and badly wants to see it. Instead, she sends some of her members to go there for her, but they accidentally and unwillingly alarm a monochrome alien who always believed algoliens were some sort of myth, and plans to steal their colors to make his own home world full of color.

The Queen is a very friendly individual who only wants the best for her own kind. She also wants to make sure her fellow people are always entertained, which has her come up with competitions for her Algoliens on Earth to play while they stay there to avoid them getting bored.

The Queen changes color depending on her current mood:

Purple - Calmness. She turns purple the most, given she is mostly calm in personality, and when she is helping someone relieve of their stress.
Blue - Depression. When someone just won't behave or she feels imprisoned and alone, she turns blue.
Green - Joyfulness. It's very easy to please the queen, just interacting with her is enough to turn her green.
Yellow - Anxiety. It's hard to be a queen. She turns yellow when she's in a panic, mostly when she worries for the King.
Orange - Kindness. She's also common to turn orange when interacting. She is familiar with everyone in the Algoworld and wants to help.
Red - Anger. The rarest emotion of hers, but when you really push her buttons, you'll be sorry.

These are all indicated by the six colored gems on her crown.

When asked a question about how she met King Saturation and wondering if the marriage was arranged, this is what Queen Spectrum had to say, including going to detail about her history:

"What an interesting question! I've dreamed of being a ruler ever since I was a little girl. I studied hard in hopes to become the next ruler. One day, I went down to the local library to pick up a few books on the history of algolien rulers, and that's when I met Saturation. He too wanted to learn how to rule and become the next king of shades. We visited frequently to learn how to become rulers together, and I fell in love with him so dearly, and to my surprise, he pulls out a wedding ring! Of course, I immediately exclaimed "YESS!!!! I DO!!!" So no, this wedding was not arranged, we were deeply in love. We didn't become rulers yet, but the current ones at the time were impressed with us, and promised that if we kept learning and studying harder, we'd be the future rulers! Oh we were just way too excited!!! Once they moved on (rest in peace), they kept their promises, and the powers were handed down to us! I know you didn't really ask about this part but, unlike other rulers, I noticed how scared the algolien residents were of them, since they were typically grumpy and unamused a lot. But that's where I, Queen Spectrum the... I don't know which descendant I am, we lost track. Anyway, that's when I decided I'm going to be a fun and happy queen, everyone loves me! I really want Saturation to be compassionate like I am, but to be fair he's much nicer than past rulers. So yes, thank you for that wonderful question! It means a lot to me that someone is willing to learn about me and my history."
- Queen Spectrum

As time went on, she grew bored of her routine, wanting to see the universe around her. Her explorations and curiosities of the universe around her are limited as requested by King Saturation. He fears that if she were to set out to space, another life form from another world or universe could track her down and abuse her power. One day, she looks through her telescope and sees a star that catches her eye. She brings Lime, the teenage algo-genius, to study it, revealing it to be a planet of life, the Earth. Overjoyed, she sends Lime and 14 others selected by her to visit it, with the mischievous Olive tagging along accidentally. And then more groups after them.

Without her power, if it were to be hijacked, everything in the universe turns grayscale, and if the King's powers are stolen too, everything would be pitch black. No light.

Lavender strongly looks up to the Queen, hoping to be the heir to her throne (which is sadly unlikely, but a young girl can always dream big things).
