  BUTTERS Inspiring Younger Sister Buttermilk (or "Butters") was fascinated by Lavender ever since she was adopted by her family. She mostly wanted to hang around her more than anyone else, thus making her friend group a lot more limited compared to her sister (she's not exactly interested in Purple, Magenta, or Pink in close friendship terms). Despite this, she's a quite happy and cheerful individual and never seems to care about hanging around alone. If you hadn't read Lavender's post already, Butters' outfit was designed by Lavender herself! Lavender loves making clothing designs and Butters wanted to have her own outfit too so Lavender did just that for her.   PURPLE Miss Perfect Purple is the kind of gal who thinks she's right all the time. She will tend to argue until her point finally comes across. She doesn't have many friends but there are few that have stuck with her. She shares her fashion interest with Magenta and her strengths with Pink, and Lavender also looked up to her as a person who can deal with the people she hates. Thus, they all form the girly squad. If there's anything she hates, cool and popular boys. They solely remind her of Plum, her older brother who would constantly be the favorite child and get all the attention from their parents. She also doesn't like women who overdo their looks to look as attractive as possible, namely Hot Pink and Periwinkle. Purple doesn't care about good looks, which is why she is one of the most basic dressed characters in the series.   LAVENDER The Cutest Character Lavender loves nothing more than to be a sweet person in life. She adores royalty such as queens and princesses, having a deep connection with Queen Spectrum. She made her dress pattern herself as she has a small passion with sewing clothing. She also has a wonderful bond with her adopted sister, Butters, who also looked up to her back. Despite her sweet nature, she never really had a lot of friends, as a lot of people have looked at her in a weird way, considering the way she dresses like a little girl (she's a teen). Eventually she met Purple, who along with her friends Magenta and Pink, actually accepted Lavender for who she was and have become a fun squad of four.   RED Swag Red was always one of the popular kids in school. With his good looks yet likeable personality, he just fit perfectly in society! His mother is an obsessive workaholic and his father is extremely lazy, so Red would sneak out of the house a lot to hang out with his best friends Yellow, Orange, and Cyan, and even hangs around with Pink too (viewing her as a friend, not a love interest). MAGENTA A Lovely, Skilled, & Responsible Algowoman Out of the entire cast, Magenta is the most mature in personality. She feels like she's different from everyone else. Having grown up with an overprotective and alcoholic family, she acts very soft and often wants to avoid trouble. She doesn't fully enjoy when others are overly attracted to her, but her kindness and well-being personality makes her likeable, and other Algoliens look up to her as a mother-type figure.  Magenta's father and sisters were very abusive to her. Her father is overprotective of his daughters to the point where he doesn't want any of them to move on, and he would go as far as to abuse them just to keep them around. His habit has infected Magenta's older sisters, Berry and Byzantine, who always used to bully Magenta around. Magenta was too afraid of escaping thinking she'd get beaten up by her sisters.  KI NG SA TU RA TI ON Meet the ruler of the shades of gray, King Saturation! With his power, he controls the light, shadows, and saturations of colors, giving us colors like brown, navy, olive, and maroon. He is very overprotective and knowing how vulnerable the queen can be, he restricts her explorations, worrying that someone will track her down, steal her power, and end the universe as we know it. If the king's powers are disabled before the queen's, everything turns white and bright. That's not a good thing to imagine. Not even White herself is eager of imagining that, although she'd feel a little flattered by it, but that's not saying much. As much as he does mean well to the Queen and Algoworld, he strongly reminds the queen that just because they have royal powers does not mean they have immorality, and strongly worries when the Queen daydreams of exploring the universe, fearing something out there is going to capture her.   QU E E N S P EC TR UM Introducing Queen Spectrum! She is a super algolien who possesses the visual color spectrum. She can live up to 5,000 years, and doesn't want to waste a minute of it! Her dream is to see the work she and her husband created, but King Saturation worries the universe may be a scary place, considering the Queen's ability to control colors does not come equipped with immorality. The place she catches sight of is Earth, and badly wants to see it. Instead, she sends some of her members to go there for her, but they accidentally and unwillingly alarm a monochrome alien who always believed algoliens were some sort of myth, and plans to steal their colors to make his own home world full of color. The Queen is a very friendly individual who only wants the best for her own kind. Welcome to the AlgoBlog! Here I will be posting about the characters, events, and more revolving around the Algoliens cast of colorful characters. What is Algoliens? Algoliens  is an upcoming web series created by  Corey Barber . It was formed during the Algicosathlon series that were created on an old YouTube channel back in 2017 and revived during 2020, eventually leading the new channel to be rebranded to  The Algodood Productions . The story revolves around a colorful alien race known as "Algoliens" that live in the Bermuda Triangle undiscovered by humans and compete against each other in fun competitions. Algoliens is greatly inspired by Cary Huang's popular "Algicosathlon" web series (which spawned many more series on YouTube), with a backstory and personalities for each of the colorful characters being added.
